Texas Trails RV Resort is located in Pharr, TX and is one of the 17 Wilder RV Resorts located in Texas and Florida. This is one of the nicer RV resorts in the valley, offering almost every amenity and facility that an RVer could expect. This includes gated security, a fully-equipped woodworking shop, and a wide range of entertainment at affordable prices.

This RV resort has spaces for about 1000 units and about 700 are occupied during the peak season from early January until early March. There are about 300 permanent units concentrated at the east end of the park. These are modular homes, park models, and one house that is the residence of the regional manager for Wilder Resorts. These are neatly maintained and landscaped and many of these residents stay here year round. A huge clubhouse is located in the center of the park and houses the office, indoor pool and large spa, library, several game and meeting rooms, and a ballroom (with stage) large enough to seat about 1000 people. Just outside the clubhouse are tennis courts, shuffleboard, and an outdoor pool. The entire park is surrounded by a security fence and everyone entering the park must pass muster at the entrance gatehouse.

The day after Thanksgiving, volunteers begin decorating for the Christmas season and, before the weekend is over, the place is ready for a visit from Santa. The office and its entrance have several Christmas trees on display and several units in the permanent section have their own Christmas displays. The holiday spirit was evident throughout the park.
